Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB) is an architecture, interior design, and planning firm founded in 1931 by Lou Solomon. Headquartered in Chicago, with offices in San Francisco, Boston, and Seattle, SCB has played a significant role in shaping urban landscapes across the United States.
The firm expanded its leadership in 1956 when John Cordwell joined, followed by John Buenz in 1963.
